In 2022 Moseley Road Baths was awarded funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund to develop its offer alongside its regular swimming programme. We want to make sure that Moseley Road Baths is truly representative of the local area and the local community as well as its wider community of users across the city and beyond.

Moseley Road Baths has a long-established ethos of being run by the people of Balsall Heath for local people, which is key to staying relevant to its community. This is an opportunity to create real impact on what the future of Moseley Road Baths looks like and ensure your voice is heard to support decision making. In turn you will experience how a local facility like the Baths is run and managed as well as gain an insight into what it’s like to be a trustee at the forefront of community action. This is an opportunity to experience multiple areas of work which supports future career choices.
What is involved?
We are looking for people aged 18 – 25 to share their ideas about the future of Moseley Road Baths; what could be improved and how the Baths could support you in accessing local activities.
This will involve:
- responding to questionnaires via email.
- The opportunity to share your thoughts though dedicated focus groups. Focus groups will either be online, in person at Moseley Road Baths or another local venue.
- Have your voice heard on future events and activities, swimming programmes.
- Tell us how to celebrate the story of the Baths.
