We wanted to take a moment to celebrate one of the most recognisable features of MRB… our beautiful and vibrant glazed brickwork. (Whatever you do, don’t call them tiles!)
The bricks, made by the Stourbridge Glazed Brick Company, come in ivory, green, turquoise blue and cream, and give the interior of the Baths its distinctive colour and character.
They’ve been part of the building since it opened in 1907 and are one of the details people often remember most.
As part of the restoration, we’re making sure the brickwork can remain a key feature of the building.
