Sophie has recently joined the board of MRB. She has worked at theatres across the UK for the last 20 years and is currently the Senior Producer at Shakespeare’s Globe. Sophie is passionate about the impact of special buildings on communities and how art and culture can contribute to wellbeing.

Simon Stirling

Simon brings over 30 years of successful charity leadership, fundraising, and commercial banking experience.  He is Chair of Moor Pool Heritage Trust, a community and heritage charity in West Birmingham, and previous to that had a successful and longstanding career at Lloyds Bank.

Kat Pearson

Kat first became involved with MRB while writing an assignment as part of her Conservation of the Historic Environment MA at Birmingham City University and went on to write her dissertation about historic swimming pools and non-traditional, community-led funding. She currently works in arts evaluation and at The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
