The Slipper Baths –Come take a dip

Moseley Road Baths invites you to come take a dip in one of our baths in the newly restored Edwardian cubicle from the 1st July. Every Friday from the 1st of July to the 29th of September we are offering you the chance to immerse yourself in the heritage of this globally celebrated building through a unique bathing experience.
The experience starts when you are left to bathe in privacy and peace in the Edwardian cubicle, select your soundscape with our hidden Bluetooth speaker, and slip right in! To make this experience even more special, we will be offering soaps created in collaboration by Anawim Women’s Centre and Grand Union for purchasing during your visit.
You can become part of the tapestry of our building and take a bath in our purpose built iconic glazed brick cubicles, which feature terrazzo marble floor, in 1950s cast iron and enamel bathtubs. Discover the stories woven into the very fabric of Moseley Road Baths, as it has witnessed generations of Brummies bathing, swimming, and socialising.
The space has been fitted with new fixtures to ensure you have an easy and comfortable visit but maintains its historic charm and quality. Appreciate the rich heritage of the building and indulge in this truly distinctive and memorable experience.
In our journey to offering this experience we sought insight from our local community on how we can ensure our guests get the most out of this necessary luxury. We had fantastic contributions from Saheli Hub, Amal Creative, Anawim, Balsall Heath CATS, Balsall Heath Church Centre and our very own Chat and Splash group.
