We are Reopening!

We wanted to make a 10-step photo story to guide you through your first visit back to swim at Moseley Road Baths. We also have our new timetable and details of reopening including some FAQs on this website.

1. Mask

We ask that you wear a mask when you’re anywhere in the building except the pool itself.

2. Sanitise your hands

Please use our new hand sanitiser station as you enter the building.

3. Wait!

We have gaps between swimming sessions so that we can clean poolside, please wait in the entrance using the social distancing markings on the floor.

4. Contactless payment

We are asking people to use contactless payment if possible as this makes it easier for our staff and volunteers to stay safe.

5. Shoes off!

We no longer have shoe covers as it is not practical with coronavirus measures and it’s more environmentally friendly, so we ask you to take your shoes off before you go poolside.

6. Keep your distance

We will be operating social distancing and a one-way system throughout the building including poolside.

7. Cubicles

You will be guided to one of the numbered cubicles which we will be cleaning between sessions.

8. Enjoy your swim!

We will be asking you to use specific steps to enter and leave the pool and we ask you to maintain social distancing in the water. We hope that everyone will enjoy being back in the water while being as safe as possible.

9. No showers

We’re really sorry but it’s not possible to offer showers at this time.

10. See you soon!

Because of the one-way system, people will be leaving the building via the fire escape.
