Balsall Heath!

Since we took over running of the pool in April 2018, we have been keen to build links with local community organisations in Balsall Heath and bring them into the pool. As well as expanding availability for existing clubs such as Moseley Shoals we have also forged new partnerships with Sähëlï Hub, Odara and ASIRT.

Aquanatal is a brilliant way to empower you and prepare you for your upcoming journey to motherhood. Join instrcutor Elsie Gayle, a practising midwife with over 30 years of experience in the NHS, who has worked globally supporting women worldwide to birth healthy babies. Her passion is supporting women to birth well, irrespective of their circumstances or type of birth.

Saheli Hub

Balsall Heath based Sähëlï Hub have pioneered ‘Women only’ exercise, fitness and sport since 2000– they are dedicated to improving community health and wellbeing by providing innovative services and solutions that educates, motivates, inspires and empowers.
They deliver a range of activity for all abilities and fitness levels including; Zumba, Aerobics, Running, Cycling and Badminton.

Balsall Heath’s Odara offers women the opportunity to grow personally, professionally and socially.

As well as workshops and support services they offer the Sanctuary and Wellbeing Centre, which is a safe, relaxing and soothing women-only space.

Moseley Shoals

Moseley Shoals were founded in April 2000 at Moseley Road Baths and have grown into a thriving and diverse sporting and leisure swimming club. They are a mixed ability group – everything from ‘splash & chat’ to competition standard swimming. They meet three times a week at Moseley Road Baths.

ASIRT works to provide prompt, independent advocacy support throughout the West Midlands, providing advice on immigration, and asylum and following this up through casework, the submission of representations to the Home Office, welfare support and Tribunal representation. They also work in partnership with other statutory and voluntary agencies to provide services for asylum-seekers and refugees.

Hire the Pool


Want exclusive use of the Pool for special occasions such as birthdays etc. We have ‘Pool Party’ slots on Saturdays and Sundays.

The cost is £90 for an hours pool time, plus an hours use of the ‘Tea Room’ afterwards.
