I have enjoyed swimming in the pool for many years. I had a hip replacement Operation nearly 20 years ago and have tried to be regular in my swimming on and off ever since. But I became committed to the baths with an especial fervour after having been on a tour of it on a Heritage Open day. Our guide on the day was Phillipa and she talked enthusiastically about the history of the building. This convinced me that I should help in the effort to sustain it …… it is a local Edwardian icon that has survived many changes in B’ham during the last century. I can’t offer much in the way of support but at least I can be on Reception and make a small regular contribution to its continued existence in the community.
