We’re seeking new trustees to join the Moseley Road Baths CIO board. Might you have the skills and enthusiasm we’re looking for?
Moseley Road Baths CIO has now been operating for one year, and with two trustees having moved into the Operations Manager role, we are seeking new trustees to take their places on the board and help us continue to develop MRB as a successful community pool. Being a MRBCIO trustee is a very positive and rewarding experience in spite of the challenges we face.
We’re looking for people who share our passion for and active commitment to MRB and have the time to participate in our monthly meetings, as well as subgroup activity in between. In particular, we are looking for:
- A treasurer, to monitor our finances and make bank payments.
- A communications lead, to coordinate our comms and marketing subgroup
- A fundraising lead, to coordinate delivery of our fundraising strategy
- Someone with knowledge of swimming as a sector – teaching, pool management or similar.
We’re also really keen that we continue to reflect the diversity of Balsall Heath’s population, so we welcome applications from local people. If you are interested but don’t have experience as a trustee or director, please do get in touch for a chat. For the right person, we can provide support and training to help you fulfil the role.
If you’re interested, please read the Role Description and Person Specification and if needed have a browse of this website to get a fuller picture of the MRB ‘project’. Then please email firstname.lastname@example.org outlining what relevant skills and experiences you have, by 9am Monday 29th April 2019. If you’d just like an informal chat about the role or have any questions you’re welcome to contact me as above to arrange this.
